  1. Rayas positioning is completely unorthodox. On his big save he leaves a massive gap at the near post and gambles on the cut back and making the save if it gets cut back. Even though that save he made looked spectacular he made the save happen almost like a kid in a park who wants the save. He plays away from the near post and way into the six yard box alot of the time which means that the defenders all have their positioning changed. Look back at his position just before Son cuts the ball back the gap is huge at the near post and Son could have slid it in there. Then Raya goes backwards to the near post late which makes makes the save unnecessarily spectacular but risks the near post. Even the save he padded just under the crossbar was because he took up a weird position just before that which left him back peddling. After he then pushed the ball back into play Spurs scored. Also on that goal he starts ok at the near post but as Maddison gets to the byline Rays moves more to the nearpost and even outside the near post almost off the pitch instead of centering more in the goal and therefore leaves basically an open goal for Son.

  2. Good result for Spurs given the terrible pen decision. Honestly it's sad to see players being punished for having arms and moving them naturally, in a contact sport no less too.

And if you're going to mald at my pen decision opinion, my mind ain't changing on the matter.

  3. Maddison is such a great addition to the team. What a quality player. When he was semi-injured I could tell the atmosphere of the game immediately change in Arsenal's favor. Besides Maddison the backline is also looking solid. Romero didn't have the best day but days like this happen to everyone anyway. What a great team to watch this season.
