  1. This looks interesting and worth a look out. I used to love playing footie games like Virtual Soccer and Champions World Soccer on my sons Super Nintendo. I don't like the FIFA games and stopped playing the PES games a few years ago. I just didn't feel any connection playing them. I wouldn't mind playing this if it came to XBox.

  2. Hey Spoony Pizzas, thank you so much for this long gameplay video in which you thoroughly analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the game in a very competent manner. Active Soccer 2023 has been developed entirely by me, essentially a solo developer with some help for teams and testing. The game is on its first day of Early Access, and I'm counting on improving it in the coming weeks and expanding it by adding replays and online modes. Obviously, I created Active Soccer 2023 not to replace FIFA or eFootball but to propose an arcade game that recalls the old classics of the past and to provide quick fun. Thank you also to all of you for dedicating your time to this video 🙂

  3. Didn't see the last half an hour or so of the stream but it seems you didn't clock you were playing as Arsenal ? game looks cool. Really love videos like this, thanks man

  4. Not a bad indie football title at all, fake team and player names while keeping real names initials is arcade classic, like both Gustavo's are Gabriel irl and Terrance is Thomas, GK ai definitely need some work, the developer clearly put some work in with stats and formations for respective teams; like you can Terrance is good DM and Saka has explosive pace. Chelsea were playing three at back and Newcastle played a deep defensive line like in real life. Scoring bangers in this which is not possible in modern football titles is something which is a big plus i think, still it has competition from PES 6 with mods which I boot up sometimes when I get bored from modded pes21 and fl23 but I can see myself getting this on sale

  5. Awful name for a football game, what kind of name is that????

As opposed to what, "Inactive Soccer 2023"?

After years of PES and FIFA, I just don't see anyone dropping the games and shifting to this, maybe on your mobile or something for a quick casual game while you're travelling, but not to play seriously.

For all their flaws, it's going to need an effort equivalent to Undisputed Boxing in the football world to drag people away from the big two.
