You missed a important point 'Ads',they show ad every half time (in career mode) and get coins by watching ads,but i can understand as you are a DLS creator and you can't say the game is sh*t and still upload it's videos

pretty sure you should've mentioned the "special offers" they give after every career mode division you complete, or even better during real world events. a marketing strategy that since there are real world soccer events going on, there will be more people playing soccer games, and therefore wanting to spend money on them
I have never spent money on dream league soccer but I have managed to get my favourite players and upgrade them to maximum.Hard work
