  1. Like I stated before. I' am also disappointed with the Commentators like Alexis Lalas for criticizing Uruguay for protesting and yelling at the referee, in the match between Uruguay and Ghana. Alexis was a great player, but not as a commentator or analyzer of Football. He does not know what he is talking about. David Mosse you even know less than him about Football.

  2. Alexis is the most ignorant pundit there is. This dude is clueless when it comes to football. They guy grew up in the U.S. with American sports… He is delusional. Is like listening to an arrogant stupid version of Ted Lasso ?

  3. Messi doesn’t “move you” because you are old now and back then you admired a player that no one has ever seen before. These are hard time for Ronaldo fans that are always going against Messi

  4. If this doesn't change the way you look at Gregg Berhalter you are an idiot. Yes, that makes Alexi an idiot. Not because he chose to bench Reyna (that's a coach's decision even if it's a dumb one), not because he wanted to send a player with a bad attitude home (that's also a coach's decision and understandable under the circumstances) but because he allowed Reyna to make amends (which Reyna did) and then later took information that should have remained in the locker room and made it public on purpose. That's breaking a massive trust not only with Reyna, but the entire team. Gregg should be fired.

  5. Maradona had a striker like Valdano and partner in midfield like Burruchaga. And also a stellar defense. He didn’t win alone. Messi’s influence for Argentina in this World Cup is certainly comparable. Messi and Maradona certainly deserve to be compared. And the longevity of Messi’s career sets him apart. Nobody has dominated football for 15/17 years like he has done. If he wins the World Cup I think the GOAT debate will be over.

  6. Winning the WC is the probably the greatest accolade in football but it does not make you "The GOAT" and people who think that are either saying it to hate on Messi or they just do not understand the game, by their definition Xavi, Iniesta, Muller…….etc are they all GOATs??? what about in the 2014 wc final, if Hugain scored that open chance and Argentina won it, then Messi would've became the GOAT??? The things that Messi has done for club and country in his career (and continues to do) are out of this world. His consistency in is unmatched, his attitude and leadership are excellent and the joy he brings to us will be sorely missed when he retires. Trust me he is the GOAT whether you like it or not and we as his fans do not need a WC title to prove it to you, the only reason we want him to win it is because we truly want him to fulfill his dream because we understand how much joy it would bring him and we believe football owes him that joy
