  1. Sterling actually looked alright in that first half. Put himself in dangerous places. But its obvious that left side looked muted m, maybe because he didnt stretch the pitch very much, making it harder for Saka on the right too.

Martinelli and Trossard coming in really help balance both sides

  2. Who at NBC is like yeah thats what contributes to a highlights package. Watching 5 minutes of VAR zooming in and out and drawing lines. People hate VAR delays in games ffs. Just make the video 5 minutes shorter I stead of putting VAR crap in. Whoever there edits the highlights isn't much of a soccer (football!!!) fan that's for sure

  3. Ruthless. Kai Havertz take a bow; Sterling will be a menace once he gets his boots on the right feet and on the same wavelength as everyone else. The depth in defense is amazing now, no White or Timber, Partey with a decent fill in at RB allowing Tomi to get some much needed minutes in his legs. Merino I think is going to be immense in the engine room next to or dovetailing with Rice. And I will gladly continue to eat all the crow served by Gabi Martinelli, since the City game he's been a different player altogether. Tricky one away to Bournemouth next week, but this squad is relentless and inevitable; imagine if Jesus/Sterling start contributing?

  4. Wait how did Var not call that second goal offsides? Sure the first guy didnt touch it but he WAS offsides and it looked like he was about to head it which isnt fair to the goalie bc someone who is offeides is directly interfering with the goal and the goalie

  5. Arsenal are so much deeper as a club this season. The type of players coming off the bench is crazy. With there usual starting 11, you get Sterling, Jesus, Merino, the young kid who’s name I don’t feel like butchering at the moment. Even more that I’m forgetting to mention. They were not this deep the past two seasons. I think that will be the key to maybe finally winning the league.
