  1. Im same age as messi from morocco being a barca fan from 2001.. i watched messi literally since his debut games ( againt porto with mourinho and juventus with capello) i think around 2004 .. we grew up together, he as a goat, me as a fan.. its been a pleasure all these years ..🎉

  2. the refs gotta be fired, first they didnt call messis hangball when he got that first goal, thats why the crew players didnt go to defend him they just put their hands up cuz it was a handball. the second goal they shouldnt have even gotten the chance for that suarez gotta stop bein a lil cry baby but the messis kick was very good tbh. and the red card is actully crazy we legit didnt do anything.

  3. As a crew fan, here are my takeaways: offensively, they had many chances to convert but couldn’t especially with that second penalty. The defense felt real sloppy at times especially on the Suarez goal. Now were there some iffy calls that went Miami’s way? Yes. But you can’t really complain when you’re given 2 pk’s for handballs. Miami was the better team tonight. But I’m not too upset about the result because the game was still real fun to watch. And I hope we can meet again in the playoffs because the last couple of meetings between these two have been absolute bangers.

Also that Messi free kick was pretty sick.

  4. It’s very clear that Miami and Columbus are the two best teams in the league. We can only hope they meet again in the playoffs. It’s also amazing to see the Barca Boys bring Miami from bottom to first within a year.

  5. Free kick was nice, but if a player, ANY player, is able to curve it around the wall like that, the wall is clearly positioned horribly wrong. So ultimately is was an idiotic mistake by the goalkeeper who is responsible for setting it. But yes, leave it to Messi to exploit that instantly.

  6. Columbus have the chance to win the game if it wasn't for their mistakes. Cucho had the chance to make it 3-3 but decided to score on the left hand side of the goal making it consistent for the gk to antipciate where he was going. Patrick Schulte is no doubt a growing star for Columbus and for the US recent call up to the Olympics and for his performance vs Tigres and Monterrey in the Leagues Cup and soon will be catching eyes from Europe, however Columbus played a very intense game and fired with everything they got. Mistake on the coach for not putting in Russell who is a super-sub and can make a difference if he played earlier instead of Ramirez. Shout out for the referees who for one of the very few games made good decisions on it being a pk and for their level-headed and awareness of the game, at least for the most part in contrast to other games in MLS. Not perfect but much much better!
