AC Milan didn’t really perform well the last UCL either. They practically squeezed by. Leverkusen wasn’t going to be an easy team. Milan practically let Frimpong and Boniface make runs past them. The only reason Milan weren’t down more goals was because Frimpong had terrible finishes. Grimaldo causing all sorts of problems.

I really do like watching Leverkusen play. It is fluid and expressive. Reminds me to football in the 00's. The players determine if they win or lose so long as the coach picks the right squad. That's how football should be played.

Say what you want about the referee. This game was lost the moment we had Useless Cheeks starting and playing the 90….. he doesn’t help out at all in the midfield, nor is he creative enough to make the proper through pass further forward….. we beat inter when Morata who as a forward provided better passing in the middle of the pitch than cheeks! Got to stick to what is working at the moment🤬😢

the passive offsides rule is for shame. basically a player can intentionally be offiside and then a pass or two later, it's like he never was. that is terrible. leverkusen goal shows that. i am a fan of both teams, but come on 2 passes before (3 secs) he is in an off position but when i comes to him it is a goal. defenders must be pissed off. the trap doesn't really work anymore, because players can hang offsides. there should be a time limit or number off passes, or both. common sense.
Milan needs some more goal contributions from the obvious.
