Shouldn’t have gone to penalties. Ref was way too quick to call the PK. Also, you’d think Canada would maybe practice PKs after what happened a month ago and stop kicking it to the same spot for Naeher to make easy saves

What Naeher did was phenomenal and I'm hoping she continues this in the Olympics.
But what Sophia Smith did was also spectacular. A brace and then converting her PK.
I would though like to see Smith, Shaw, and Swanson play more and perhaps start together. That first half was dismal.
Also, they need to hold onto leads FFS.
I’m happy to see Smith back. What a phenomenal talent and she seems gracious off the pitch. Now if they would bench Morgan and drop Rodman off the roster the U.S. might get back to their former glory. The talent is there if they will use it. But for some stupid reason they have spent the last year trying to force has-been and never-was.

Rodman had a good game despite her missing a pk with her assist on Sophia’s 2nd goal. She is still young and needs to gain confidence. Look at what missing in the WC did to Sophia Smith. Just have faith guys!
