  1. Talent wise Africa probably has a chance, issue there is that they don't have the infrastructure to polish that talent, Asia is probably the closest that could make it, they have invested heavily in providing the infrastructure just need to find the talent, which shouldn't be as hard since their populations are masssive, USA and Canada I doubt since they have tried for decades to build the culture and just doesn't stick, and finally Mexico the enigma of football world, a country with huge population, a football culture and enough infrastructure to polish that talent, too bad that their corruption problems are so embedded in their society that even football gets ruin by it, talent gets constantly discarded in favor of players with ties to the people running the federation.

  2. Just wait until Japan actually start a blue lock academy lol

Seriously though, the day a non European, non South American team wins the wc, will be celebrated by fans of the sport everywhere.
It's just that probably almost every kid in Europe and South America owns a soccer ball. The infrastructure here in Germany is insane.
In my hometown (I love in Germany) there's no tram even close to professional leagues.
Yet there are, in my district alone, 3 clubs with a total of 6 adult teams.
And even here derbys are watched by 100+ locals.

  3. Africa are probably gonna be the next to do it in my opinion. Football in Africa is as big as it is in South America and even bigger than it is in Europe. Africa is full of gems but European teams haven't started scouting there until recently. That's why most successful African players were born in Europe.

If African players were given more of a chance or even the same chance they are given now but like 50 years ago they'd be competing to be the best continent at football in the world.

Japan and Mexico are the only notable countries that have close to as much young footballing talent to about 50% of African countries but Japan already has an incredible league with a heavy focus on youth development that has been heavily scouted by European and even South American clubs for decades now so they're already close to their potential.

Mexico has good teams but a – for lack of a better word – corrupt league owned mostly by cartel which rarely buys or sells players outside of Mexico and rarely gives youth a chance so they're far from their potential but the sheer frequency of countries in Africa with so much potential is crazy compared to it.

  4. The reason why the US will probably never win a World Cup is because we don’t care about soccer very much. Our best athletes play football basketball and baseball. If our best athletes played soccer, we’d have a much more respectable team.
