I may be a average offensive player, but I have alot of pride in my defense. We defenders don't get enough credit for being able to defend those players with crazy ball handling skills. It takes alot of skill too to close angles and contain at the same time.
I always wanted to be a striker but i found out that i am way better at defending then being a striker
I was a defender all through high school. Former striker, and never had so much fun until playing defense.

As a defender if I recognize a guy is newer to the game or less confident, I just fly at them, it usually freaks them out and makes them mess up.
Also, that thing about no nice defenders, yeah completely true, but always remember to be polite after the game. And shake the guy's hand.
