  1. Although Andrew Doyle's response was 😂 as a response to WP's post, I like the one from La Libertad Avanza which read: "Because we are a Country, not a Disney movie" as well🤣

  2. I am Argentinean and the first time I saw an African American person was when I moved to the United States at 10 years old. This article is ridiculous. Also, unlike the person who wrote this article we are not obsessed with race. We would welcome anyone on the team that could help us win, no matter the race.

  3. As Asian, I love Argentina national football team. I don’t care about no Asians in the team, even there’re 1m Asians living in Argentine. My passion is in pure football. I don’t give a phuck about racial diversity for a sports team.

  4. Argentina it happens just like Uruguay, there is just not really a big black community and other communities in general, so logically not many players from those communities become professional soccer players because there are not enough people.

It's like complaining that there aren't enough native Hawaiians on the US team, plus to qualify for the team you have to play well, period.
Your skin color directly doesn't matter, do you play well? you are in good shape? You dont have any health problem that affects your performance? and can you work in a team? Perfect, you qualify.

  5. It’s not about meeting quotas and pseudo race requirements but having the absolute best players compete against each other. 😊 as a Latino we don’t play this stupid black vs white game. We have many more other races and we encourage to promote the best qualified candidates. By the way, most people in Latin America have Native Indigenous heritage too.

  6. It's hilarious how insecure some American boomers get around soccer. They can't stand that the world's most followed and respected sport is soccer and most popular athletes are soccer players, while American football is completely irrelevant everywhere but it origin nation. I guess it goes completely against their beliefs of American superiority.

  7. For us Argentines, the article was very offensive, because of the mistakes they made when quoting figures (which they had to correct) and the implication of racism in our national squad, which is a ridiculous idea, we are crazy about soccer, Mbappe has plenty of fans here, believe me if we had a player like him we would feature him on the squad. Also, the head of the Argentine Football Association (Chiqui Tapia) has some African ancestry, mixed with other ethnicities as is common here, so the accusation is even more idiotic. Anyway, I believe, like Morgan Freeman said, that the best way to fight racism is to stop being so obsessed with race, and start to see each other as fellow human beings. Cheers.

  8. Its not soccer its FOOTBALL love the show greg but the rest of the world calls it FOOTBALL and no one in the rest of the world cares about that stupid HAND EGG game that you guys play.

Ps you call soccer as you call it boring thats funny TIME OUT

ok as i was saying only you guys play soccer and the mls is a graveyard its trash TIME OUT

ok as i was saying FOOTBALL BORING? TIME OUT IS BORING

    Pps still love the show

  9. Once again, a condescending woke "intellectual" from the USA called Erika Edwards is trying to teach Latin Americans what Latin America is like because we couldn't have figured it out for ourselves without her help. Apparently, her obsession with race and wokeness makes her so morally superior that she can preach and lecture Argentinians about our "local racism" and how our country (where segregation never existed, unlike the USA) is supposedly more racist than others for not having black players on the national football team without even checking her facts or learning about Argentina's culture and demographics. Maybe this endless and sick obsession with classifying human beings according to their race, as if it was a determinant factor to their existence and nature, is the reason why racism still cannot be eradicated.

  10. My godness. Nobody cares what u want. People want to se elite talent and a beautiful sport regardless of countries. Its just a sport, whats next LGBTQ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WANT to know whats even more racist. The movie avatar, they dont even include african, asian, latin, middle eastern or caucasian. Hahahah

  11. Yet another prime example on how the Democrat-controlled fake news media would have nothing to talk about if they didn't have identity politics to always fall back on. (And of course the fallback topic would always be some kind of orange man bad story.)

    Let's Go Brandon 🇺🇲

  12. I love soccer. I have coached Youth soccer. I have watched every World Cup previous to this one since the late 70s. I have not watched ONE game this time. So sick of all the politics. YOU are not in charge in Qatar or Iran. Do I agree with their laws/policies? Probably not the vast majority of them, BUT I am NOT in charge there. Fight your social battles somewhere else, besides the WC. And I mean the TEAMS and FANS.
