Dimensions: 10×10 yard area with a player occupying each cone, one player stands in the middle of the area. 3 of the 4 players around the outside have a soccer ball at their feet.
How to: The central player works hard in this activity and should be rotated every few minutes. The central player signals to one player to pass the ball, once they receive the ball they must make a pass to the free player before looking for another pass and passing that to the new free player.
Coaching Points: Take a good first touch, you will quickly become aware of where the available player will be, take a positive touch so you can make the pass easily to that free player. Play quickly, once you have made the pass, turn quickly to receive your next pass. Adjust your line, passing angle and body position to suit the pass you need to receive and where you need to pass to. Feel free to get involved as the coach to make quick adjustments but try to allow the activity to flow as best as possible.
