  1. LOL don't worry, China. Look at the Philippines! Filipinos have been playing Basketball since before black players were in the NBA, but even today are not a Basketball powerhouse in the International Stage. You just be happy with ping-pong, we be happy with billiards.

  2. China has never been good in team work sports. Even Cricket they got more training from top teams but still bottom tier. Hockey also they are just there. They have only been good in individual games.

  3. Having a successful national team is like having a baby
It's not something you try, you want it and it'll just happen eventually

If you want to play football for money and fame you'll have a short carrer

  4. So what your saying is, the CCP views its national soccer team as strictly a political tool for business and they don't actually care about the sport or any of the athletes. And they wonder why they cant win….

  5. The Chinese football problem is in one way similar to what happened to the Soviet Union. If you google sports history from the 60s to the 80s the Soviet Union always has been the dominant force of almost every sport (especially in the olympics) however it seems football always been the one that evaded them. Perhaps it’s worth noting that only 8 countries that have won the World Cup and all of these countries are democratic countries (Brazil and Argentina are considered broken democracies but still democratic nonetheless). So to sum up football is something that requires creativity and passion things that will not flourish under an authoritarian system.

  6. As usual, the Chinese has gotten their approach all wrong. They want to excise and remove failure when they should analyze and learn from mistakes. Firing talented players for failures only makes them weaker and no hope for development and advancement. But that's the communist way ….punishment as motivation never works.

  7. 2026 WC will have 64 teams instead of 32. Imagine Chinese team fail to qualify again when the odd of getting in is literally 1/3. Bonus kick to the nuts will be some SEA countries like Thailand, Vietnam or Malay get in by eliminating Chinese team.

  8. why are you calling it "soccer"? there is only one single country in the whole wide world that calls the game soccer. there is no need to americanise everything! the entire world calls it football in all the glorious multitude of national languages. even the english call it by ts actual name: football!⚽

  9. Congratulations Argentina on your world championship win! The President of China is absolutely annoyed beyond belief because his Chinese national soccer team could never attain such heights and therefore he will never be in the limelight in a FIFA final and as a huge egomaniac, this is intolerable to him!
Argentina’s population…47,000,000….Chinas population…1.4 BILLION! One would think China would at least have a team at the FIFA championships! But I guess not, have you ever seen a Chinese soccer game? It’s a rugby match with a soccer ball, and yet, the President has had a 60,000 seat soccer stadium (biggest in the world…you expected anything less?) built in the hopes FIFA will give the tournament to China! FIFA must have learned by their mistake this year! In 2026, the World Cup will be held in 3 countries, Canada ??, USA ??, and Mexico ??. 2030 will be held in South America by the looks of it so China cannot be considered until 2034 as Qatar (Asian Federation) got it this year, no country in that Federation (China), can apply with a bid until 2034! IF China gets to host BEFORE 2034, then that will clearly show that the folks at FIFA are on the take!

  10. We’re not embarrassed tbh. Every Chinese want to fully dismiss the Chinese national soccer team. However, it did bring so much joys in last 2 decades. We laughed at them every time.
